Staff Party!

On Friday night, before the campers came (on Sunday), camp threw us a party to celebrate!! After a week of orientation, we were ready to have a good time! It was funny because we were so used to everyone looking like they were hung over, tired, dirty or didn’t care, but then we all got to dress up for the staff party!

Alcohol is definitely a different story in Europe, compared to back in the states. During evening events at camp, the camp directors gave us drink tickets so we can have free drinks at the bar at the camp. For the staff party, we were given 3 drink tickets which we could use for any drink (beer or wine). I just thought that was kind of crazy, because I feel like that would never happen back in the states. But who am I to complain…

We had a great time hanging out with everyone without thinking about working. It was so much fun with tons of dancing and hanging out. It was a great way to start camp off with a bang!!!
