Happy 4th of July!

At camp, the 4th of July is not that big of a deal, because you know, we’re in Switzerland and everything… but for all of us from USA, it was time to celebrate! Since I am a night guard, I do not get to go out with everyone at night, but tonight is my night off! Good planning right!?! We started out the day decked out in our red, white, and blue.
Once all the campers were in bed, it was time to celebrate! I would compare this night’s events to a frat party… lots of noise, lots of people, and lots of drinking games. God Bless the USA! I was kind of sad that we didn’t get to participate in American traditions like hanging out at the beach, or the lake house and BBQ and watch fire works, but I guess this is second best! We were also a little jealous that our families spent the holiday together at the Paur house with BBQ and fire works.
Good thing the next day was Sunday because that meant we got to sleep in and then wake up to enjoy Sunday Brunch!!! YUMMM
XOXO,
Amanda
